Haha,, wtf is wrong with people?
A Minneapolis man has been charged with allegedly robbing a store clerk at knife point to steal cowboy boots for a Halloween costume.
Jesus Orlando Sotelo is charged in Hennepin County with aggravated robbery. According to the criminal complaint, last November Sotelo and another man wanted “to go to a Halloween party” in style.
Authorities say the men wanted cowboy boots to be part of their costume, but the boots they wanted were too expensive. They cost about $200 a pair.
The two men allegedly went to a nearby Kmart where they bought a gorilla and skeleton Halloween masks. They then went to the store that sold the cowboy boots, located on the 18-hundred block of Lake Street in Minneapolis. According to the complaint, Sotelo and the other man walked in, said “trick or treat” in Spanish, held a knife to the back of the store clerk and grabbed several pairs of cowboy boots.
The second man, Rodolpho Hererra Montenegro has already been convicted in the case.
